Intro
Cranston is facing an $11 million deficit and growing, and the council just approved a max 4% tax rate increase. I grew up in Cranston and came home to help support my mother after my dad passed away. I hold an advanced degree in biological physics and neuroscience, and started my career during COVID. Today I work a service job. I know what a huge tax hike means for the working families and people living on fixed incomes.

My Priorities
I will doggedly focus on these issues until the city's current financial issues allow us to look at new programs or services. We need to focus on protecting what we have and innovating to make the city more efficient.

Cut Waste and Modernize City Hall
Starting with the hundreds of thousands of dollars Cranston loses every year in avoidable recycling penalties. Millions go to overtime instead of hiring, and spending has drifted out of balance. We need to see the whole picture and fund what matters, like fixing crumbling public infrastructure.

Grow Revenue Without Squeezing Homeowners
Housing where it makes sense, never at the expense of our neighborhoods' character, and a city that makes it easy for new businesses to open here.

Real Oversight
A quarterly public report on the city's true finances, because we cannot fix what we will not face.
Our current councilman has been a rubber stamp for more spending while the deficit ballooned to $11 million.
